Thinking About Pressure Washing Your Pavers? Here’s Why You Should Get them Sealed Instead.

Paver Pressure Washing Explained
However, the thing about pressure washing is that it’s retroactive. There’s nothing inherently wrong with pressure washing your pavers, but it does nothing to prevent that same debris from starting to accumulate on them again the moment you’re done. Pressure washing is also completely ineffective at protecting your pavers against fading, discoloration, cracking, or chipping.
Ultimately, the problem that needs to be addressed with pavers is that they’re left exposed to the elements and, as a consequence, can experience serious deterioration over time. Pressure washing only treats a small amount of the symptoms of paver deterioration, but it is does nothing to prevent it from happening in the first place. Paver sealing, however, is a different story.
